Attention Full-Time Enrolled LCVS Parents & Students
Lake County Virtual students will be able to participate in the 2021 state assessments at their zoned brick and mortar school. Below you can click on the school your student is zoned for in order to access specific dates, times, and where your student may take these tests. The dates and times listed now are for Grade 3 Reading & Grades 4-10 Writing.
We will post dates and times for Grades 3-8 Math, Grades 4-10 Reading, Grades 5 & 8 Science and Algebra 1, Geometry, Biology 1, U.S. History and Civics End of Course Exams by April 3.
It is important that students in grades 7 and higher bring their school-issued Chromebook on the day of testing. The Chromebook will need to be fully charged and functioning. Contact LCVS at 352-483-4260 if you do not have a Chromebook or your Chromebook is not functioning. Students in grades 7-10 will also need to bring earbuds for the FSA Reading test.
Please be aware, to date, the Florida Department of Education has not waived testing requirements for the 2020-2021 school year. Also important to note, is that students taking Algebra 1, Geometry, Biology 1, U.S. History and Civics are required to take the End of Course Exam and have it averaged as 30% of their final course grade prior to receiving credit in the course- and passing the grade 10 state English Language Arts test and the Algebra 1 End of Course Exam or earning a concordant or comparative score are graduation requirements.
