Dr. Derrick King
Derrick King began his career with Lake County Schools in 2012. Dr. King began his career as a teacher at Leesburg High School. Derrick has served in several different capacities during his time as an educator. His roles have included ESE Support Facilitator, Reading Teacher, In School Suspension teacher, Summer School Coordinator, HOPE Academy teacher, ESE case manager, ESE Specialist, Testing Coordinator, Program Specialist, Instructional Dean and Assistant Principal. Derrick received his B.A. in Education from Warner University in Lake Wales, Florida. He received both his M.Ed. in Ed. Leadership and Doctorate in Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from National Louis University.
